Heidi Berg joins nHack and launches nHack Academy!

Heidi Berg joins nHack.

nHack is proud to announce that Heidi Berg has joined nHack as a Program Director and head of nHack Academy. Heidi is a seasoned industry executive with background from Telenor and Norfund. Heidi is based in Shanghai and will mainly be working on the launch of nHack Academy. Among other projects, nHack Academy is hosting a VIP client trip for Danske Bank to China in October 2018.

What is nHack Academy?

As a VC fund we at nHack bring Nordic startups to China, to help them grow in one of the most exciting markets of the world. But there are also great Sino-Nordic opportunities for other organisations to learn and open doors. We are daily approached for facilitating meetings and give advice, and to better cater for these requests and build stronger connections from the Nordics to China, we are launching nHack Academy as an in-house business.

Heidi will be developing and managing programs to strengthen Sino-Nordic activities in the start-up and technology space. At nHack, we invest in Nordic companies with ties to China/Asia, and supports the portfolio companies developing products for the Asian market and/or working with partners in the region. nHack is a relatively new investment company with growth ambitions: Now is the time to develop more and better ties with China/Asia. nHack Academy will support Sino-Nordic learning and networking through Business Tours, seminars, online material etc. The first focus is to organize trips from the Nordics to China, but we are already in discussions about trips the other way as well. We tailor make the visit, identifying and setting up meetings with relevant businesses, finding or organizing events - as well as organize all the practicalities of hotels etc.

Examples of trips

Company trip: Come visit the leading Chinese companies in your field, meet researchers and get inspiration and possibly set up partnerships

Industry/special interest group (e.g. Fin Tech, Health Tech): Travel to China to attend FinTech/EdTech conference for two days, then visit relevant companies
